Meta AI Agent Environments

As part of Meta's expansion into generative AI, AI Agents brought celebrity- and creator-inspired personalities into Messenger. The project involved developing immersive chat environments using Meta's generative AI tools, creating distinct worlds that reflected each agent's personality.

Color played a central role in connecting the portrait photography with the in-chat environments. Initial AI-generated backgrounds underwent extensive Photoshop refinement, with art direction focused on creating consistency in lighting, color, composition, and overall visual style, while ensuring chat legibility. Visual guidelines were also developed to help future teams create new agent environments while maintaining consistency across the experience.
