Meta Highlight Cards

A new way to celebrate everyday moments and connect with friends.

Created for Facebook's new Highlights tab, Highlight Cards gave people a way to personalize and share special occasions like birthdays, graduations, Mother's Day, and Father's Day directly to their Facebook feed.

Working closely with engineering, a flexible card system was developed to accommodate personal photos, editable text, and a wide variety of illustrated backgrounds. Artists and creative agencies were brought in to create a diverse collection of styles, giving each celebration its own personality while maintaining a cohesive experience across the feature.

In total, 26 designs were developed.
